About the event
We know that Modern Landscape Painting portrays outdoor settings and natural landscapes, often encompassing elements like mountains, fields, forests, rivers, clouds and seas. These elements have evolved into a branch of contemporary art that focuses on only one objective: the state being
The objective of the artist is not merely to achieve a strict naturalistic representation but to cultivate a contemporary interpretation of the genre and pay attention especially to what it feels like to be swept up in that moment.
How can art reflect the evolving connection between humans and their surroundings in an age where the natural landscape is increasingly mediated by digital interfaces?
By emphasizing the human experience within the landscape, whether through personal narratives, cultural perspectives, or explorations of memory, artists should strive to convey the diverse ways in which humans authentically interact with and perceive their surroundings.
In this way we encourage the connectedness of viewer and subject matter, the artwork becoming the conduit for the ultimate conscious experience: which is simply the ability to to feel.
